Term Definition
Himalayan Pink Salt

The word salt comes from the Latin term sal, which again comes from the word sol. Sol is synonymous with the word “sole,” which is water and salt solution and also the Latin word for sun. Mythologically, and from its definition, sole means “liquid sunlight,” the liquid materialization of the sun’s energy, liquid light energy, bound into a geometric structure, capable of creating and sustaining life. A natural unrefined salt can be viewed as food as their nutritional values are considerable to the body.

Natural Salt is essential to life – every cell in your body needs pure water and natural salt for optimum cell replication and repair. Without salt and water we will die, this is why when we are critically ill we are placed on a saline drip, this is essentially a solution of water and salt.

The combination of natural salt and water in the body generates hydroelectric energy, maintains balanced blood chemistry, expels harmful acid from our cells, regulates the correct amount of water, and minerals in our blood and cells, aids digestion and assists our nervous system and muscles to function at optimum output. Without salt you would not be able to think nor act.

There is an enormous difference between the common, refined table salt and natural health-promoting salt.

Sodium chloride (table salt) is 97 to 99% sodium it is an industrial poison which damages the bodies cells due to the process it goes through to refine it. Using aluminium, ferro cyanide, iodine, chlorine and bleach – these are all highly toxic to the body. It is then heated to 1200F to dry it, destroying the ionic structure of the salt and its inherent trace elements so that it is nutritionally devoid and can therefore play no role in providing assistance to our cells.

In stark contrast, Pink Himalayan Salt is 250 million years old, originating from primal oceans where life on earth began, untainted by pollution and human hand. Himalayan salt offers bio-available, balanced minerals that are not naturally present in our food chain, due to large-scale farming and environmental damage.

Himalayan pink salt is mined by hand at the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, deep inside the earth, this process ensures its purity is maintained. Exceptionally pure this superfood contains at least 84 vital minerals and trace elements for optimum health and is the purest of salts found on Earth.
